Created in the village where René Lalique set up his glassworks in 1921, the Musée Lalique’s ambition is to introduce the general public to Lalique’s art in all of its diversity, with the accent on works in glass and crystal.
Jewellery, drawings, perfume bottles, tableware items, chandeliers, radiator mascots and vases... The Musée Laliquedisplays more than 650 exceptional pieces created by René Lalique and his heirs. From the jewellery to the crystal including glass,it is a world of light and transparency which is presented,in a setting signed Wilmotte Agency.
With large format photographs and audiovisual presentations, the visitor truly becomes a part, for example, of the Universal Exhibition in 1900 and can see René Lalique’s stand or explore the Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts of 1925.
Throughout the year, the MuséeLalique offers activities for the children and adults, temporary exhibitions... Visitors who so wish can take advantage of a video guide to lead them from space to space. It is available in French, German, English and Alsatian and in a fun version for children over 8.
